These terms are an agreement between you and Liran ("we", "us"), the maker of WAVEDROP, a desktop app and website at wavedrop.app. By downloading, installing or using WAVEDROP you agree to them.
1. What WAVEDROP does
WAVEDROP helps you organise music files for DJ use. It identifies tracks from links you provide and saves files you are entitled to: original files that rights-holders have chosen to make downloadable to you, purchases from your own accounts, files you link to directly, and files already on your computer. It converts and tags those files.
2. Your responsibilities
- You may only use WAVEDROP to obtain and convert audio you have the right to download and use. You are responsible for complying with copyright law and the terms of any service you connect (for example SoundCloud or Bandcamp).
- You must not use WAVEDROP to circumvent copy protection (DRM), to infringe anyone's rights, or to redistribute music you don't have the rights to.
- Public performance of music (for example DJing at events) usually requires separate licences that venues or promoters hold. WAVEDROP does not grant any music rights.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
New users get a free trial of 2 days per computer. After the trial, a paid plan is needed to keep downloading. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your receipt email or by contacting us, and keep access until the end of the paid period. Lifetime licences cover all 2.x versions. Payments, invoices and sales tax are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, and are also subject to its terms.
4. Licence keys
Each licence key can be active on up to 2 computers at a time. Keys are personal and may not be shared, resold or published. We may disable keys that are abused, refunded or charged back.
5. Third-party services
WAVEDROP works with third-party websites that we don't control. They may change or stop working at any time, which may affect what WAVEDROP can find. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
6. No warranty
WAVEDROP is provided "as is". We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that every track can be found, that every match is perfect, or that the software is error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to WAVEDROP is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Ownership
WAVEDROP, its code, design, name and logo are © 2026 Liran. All rights reserved. Open-source components included in WAVEDROP remain under their own licences (see the EULA).
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we'll show the new date here and, for important changes, notify you in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using WAVEDROP at any time.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Consumer rights you have under the laws of your own country are not affected.
